Today we highlight Simple Goodness Sisters; Simple Goodness Sisters grows farm to bar drink syrups for anyone who loves to enjoy a great tasting drink at home, with minimal effort. On their cocktail farm in Buckley, WA, they grow a Happier Hour with sustainable practices applied to their fruits, herbs, and edible flowers. Any ingredients that they do not grow themselves are sourced from family farms to make whole fruit, herb and spice syrups with layers of flavor and no preservatives, dyes or added chemicals. With uniquely PNW flavors like Rhubarb Vanilla Bean and Huckleberry Spruce Tip, the syrups can be enjoyed in all classic cocktails, mocktails and sodas.

Our Favorite Product

It’s hard to pick a favorite syrup from Simple Goodness Sisters but this summery we were loving the Blueberry Lavender Syrup paired with their Floral Sugar.

Sweet, floral, and deep in flavor. The blueberry lavender syrup was a smash hit flavor from their cocktail catering, Happy Camper Cocktail Company, summer of 2018 and continues to be a crowd favorite. Blueberry lavender reflects the freshness of Washington State grown produce with a flavor that is deep and interesting and keeps you going back for more. The deep purple color adds interest and beauty to every day bubbly water, but this flavor also pairs beautifully with Prosecco, cider, vodka, gin, whiskey, and even tequila. Combine it with any and all citrus, apple, vanilla, rhubarb, and other berries including cranberry. Mildly sweeter that some of the other flavors, it makes a perfect lemonade, iced tea, or cocktail mixer. Try this one on desserts and baked goods also!

Meet sisters Belinda and Venise & the story behind!

After leaving corporate careers in tech, sisters Venise and Belinda of Seattle, WA, combined forces to grow a better cocktail. Belinda launched a farm to bar mobile bar company, the Happy Camper Cocktail Company and went all in on a locally sourced, craft bar program, backed by older sister Venise's 10 acre farm, with borrowed space in the garden for edible flowers and herbs. The company became known for its unique signature drinks, with a seasonal menu and fresh flavors. As the company's accolades and client list grew, it overtook Farmer Venise's garlic fields and the sisters began to co-farm Simple Goodness Farm, creating the world’s first cocktail farm. After 4 years and thousands of clients served, Farmer Venise finally convinced her sister to bottle their "secret sauce.” In 2018, Simple Goodness Sisters, a beverage brand featuring a line of simple syrups distinguished by complex flavors and pure ingredients, was born.

What else should we know about

Simple Goodness Sisters?

If you love their syrups and their roving Happy Camper Cocktail Co. bar, you’re going to love their brick and mortar soda shop in Wilkeson, WA! Think of it as the booziest coffee shop, or the most family friendly bar you’ve ever been to. Take your pick.

We had the chance to visit their Soda Shop last week and had one delicious afternoon! From the made to order cocktail featuring their syrups to the hard-pressed panini we enjoyed complete with housemade spreads and paired with Simple Goodness Farm grown pickles, we will definitely be back!
