Today we highlight Seatown Sweets, founded in 2017, Seatown Sweets specializes in custom and delicious deserts perfect for all occasions. Some of their popular desserts include buttercream sugar cookies, cake pops, cupcakes and cakes!

We simply love incorporating Seatown Sweets buttercream sugar cookies into our custom gifts. With a variety of designs, plus custom sugar cookies available too, we have worked with Seatown Sweets to create PNW inspired cookies, Holiday cookies and more! In the image to the left Seatown Sweets created these WA State cookies for these custom gits.
Meet Kayla & the story behind!
My love for baking began at a young age when I would make sugar cookies with my grandma at Christmas. Over the years, I never stopped baking. It was always an expression of my love. I attended Washington State University and studied marketing, I loved being creative but new it wasn't my calling. After dabbling in Pinterest recipes, I started taking local baking classes and reignited my passion for baking which I expressed in a blog I started in 2013. Soon word spread of my baking skills and in 2017 I officially started Seatown Sweets. I am now 100% self employed and love my job.

What is your favorite part of doing what you do?
I love playing with new recipe and flavor combinations. But I also love when clients bring me new fun and creative ideas to turn into buttercream creations.

What new products are you most excited about?
Holiday cookie kits! When COVID hit in March, I had to think of new ways to get my treats to my customers. While everyone was in quarantine and trying to find ways to entertain themselves or kids, I create a cookie kit. The kits came with 1 dozen baked sugar cookies, frosting and sprinkles. All you had to do was decorate and enjoy. They were a huge hit for Easter, Halloween and Christmas. I am excited to be bringing these back this fall for the Valentine’s Day. These kits are great for a zoom activity with family, friends or co-workers!
